Laser ,Types and Use

LASER :-                    LASER is an acronym of  Light Amplification by stimulated emission of Radiation. It is an optical device which produces an intensive beam of highly coherent, Monochromatic light[ Electromagnetic radiation, especially visible radiation, of only one frequency or wavelength]. It can travel over great distance without spread.   LASER LIGHT :-                                   1. It is very different than normal light and contains only one specific wavelength of light.                                 2. A laser light has very tight beam and is very strong and concentrated.                                 3. A laser light can go to the moon and th...

Applications of Bernoulli's theorem in Heart Attack and Aeroplane wings

Blood flow and Heart attack-

The blood flow in the artery and heart attack can be explained using Bernoulli's theorem. With the passage of time, the accumulation of plaque on the inner walls of the artery takes place, making artery constricted, in order to drive this constriction, activity of the heart increases.

Due to increase activity, the speed of flow of blood in that artery is raised. Due to this, the pressure inside the artery becomes less, because of more speed less pressure and high pressure outside makes it collapse. This repetition collapse of artery accounts for the heart attack.

The lying position is more comfortable than the Standing Position-
When a person is standing position the pressure due to blood circulation is maximum in feet and minimum in brain and heart. In lying position the pressure in whole body almost the same. it is due to this reason because less work is done by the heart pumping the blood to various part in the body.
Some other application of the Bernoulli's theorem-
1. The Shape of an Aeroplane wing-  The shape of an aeroplane wing is designed in such a way that its upper surface and its leading edge is more Thich than its trailing edge. Due to more upper curved surface, the speed of air above the wing is larger than the air.
So according to Bernoulli's theorem, the pressure above the wing becomes less than the pressure below the wings. Due to this pressure difference, a vertical lift acts on the aeroplane.
[ Due to the increase in velocity above the wing creates low pressure and comparatively less velocity create high pressure so plane gets the lift].
2. Blowing off the roof during the storm- During the storms, the tinned roofs are blown off without causing any damage to the house. Because during the storms, the wind blows with very high speed over the roof so the pressure above the roof becomes less than the pressure below the roof. This pressure difference provides a vertical lift to the roof, thus it is blown off.
